INTERFERENCE

This six-inch-tall urn is going to be responsible for a fallow period, I fear.

What stops you writing? Summer? The tennis? Pub? Life?

What stops me from writing? The overstimulation of too many thoughts.....

The accusatory stare of my dog stops me writing. What else...Er, piddling about on Vulpes Libris proves a daily distraction. Pub, of course. Although work can still be done in quiet pubs, so not all bad.

Hope the fallow period doesn't last too long.

I fear the Ashes may also stop me writing - not least because it will be on all day in the house - but also because I have sneaking affection for cricket myself.

Having just come back from 2 months writing in France I can definitely recommended extended writing breaks! but now I'm back I'm finding it very difficult to get started again.
Love the blog - really like the
humorous touch

Thanks for stopping by, Avril. I'll need to learn to write outside the hours of 11am to 6pm. Writing break in France sounds great...
